I apologise for the size and inconvenient format of the file for screen viewing, but this "emotion tree"of mine demanded it, even though I shrunk everything as much as I dared to make it smaller.
There isn't a whole lot to say about it: obviously, it's a guide to the variety of emotions the human face can express, with as many pointers as I could think of to help you understand how the different parts of the face (and body) are articulated in connection with specific feelings. It was a fun tut to make, requiring more intuition and observation than research.
The usual disclaimers apply: no part of this tutorial may be reproduced under any shape or form, the tutorial may not be reposted anywhere, etc. You can save or print it for your own private reference.
I agree with the earlier commenters =3
this is a really nice and detailed study how even sutle changes on expression can denote this or that emotion... really well done!
As always, fantastic work! I've been attempting to better my human-drawing skills and this will definitely help me through the rough patches of human emotion.
