A reference for proportions and the most outstanding details you should know about when drawing the human figure. These are things to keep in mind that should help you learn to see; my recommendation is that you use it as a supplement to regular and perseverant sketching exercises. Carry a sketchbook around and gesture-draw people around you, especially people in motion. This way you are forced to use fast gesture drawing and not go obsessive over the details, and that is how you can achieve a solid grounding in grasping form and movement before moving on to worrying about surface additions such as clothing and expression. think of the human body as an assortment of volumes, not as lines put together. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
