In this volume: African and Pacific types. Sorry for repeating the lengthy introduction above but I didn't want anyone who didn't see Part 1 to waltz in and get the wrong idea.
In case you who are reading this have not seen the first two, I'll repeat this: Everything I have to say about this is in the tutorial introduction above, so please read that carefully. This is a really complex and vast undertaking, and there is data I haven't been able to find yet. I'll add it when/if I do find it.
I well-enjoyed this read, thanks so much for making this! I'm off to make even better and diverse characters now! ;D Say just to pique curiosity, would you say these kind of proportions would apply to different animals and aliens? I have some of those too, but It's extremely hard to find adequate references...
Different animals and aliens?? I don't understand! The animal references are elsewhere, and I don't know why you'd expect to find alien references anywhere!
What about hispanics and other such spain, native and african influenced sub-races? I've heard that we're not a race persay but I'm not sure, but then again I didn't see them here or maybe I missed them. Sorry if this question has been asked before.
Mixed types are not treated because they're well, mixed, so you can't pin down their characteristics so easily, and no scientific research has been done on them that I can base myself on. In the book I include notes on mixed types, as far as can be observed, but it doesn't get this detailed. It's like mixing two primary colors, you can get any hue in-between, and when you throw in a third color, the variations increase exponentially.
All right thank you and sorry for bothering you! Also, no I can say "Ha suck it black, asian and white people, you get three colors but latinos get the whole rainbow!" With a little more confidence.
Very, very helpful. Drawing people has to be the hardest thing to learn. Your tutorials break it down to a straight forward step by step process that teaches the basics so that anyone can move on and "do their own thing". I refer everyone to your tutorials. When I lose faith in humanity I remember you were not paid for this. Thank you.
