The story of these shots is that of being in the right place at the right time... I would have left Laos without even knowing I was there on the Hmong Têt (New Year) if this guy hadn't walked up to me to offer his moto-taxi services to the celebration, just an hour and a half before I was bound for the airport.
Needless to say I was besides myself with excitement upon setting foot amidst hundreds of Hmong in their most glamorous outfits. The joy of the holiday and of being beautifully attired shone on all faces...

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
